Phase 1 Surveys
Phase 1 habitat surveys are a technique for environmental audit. Phase 1 is a system of habitat classification that is widely recognised within environmental and planning disciplines.
Phase 1 habitat surveys are regularly undertaken to assess habitats. Extended Phase 1 surveys, identify the potential for protected species, record invasive species or any other significant ecological interest within a site, and the surrounding area.
