NVC surveys are undertaken on a frequent basis.  The NVC surveys; are a widely used auditing technique, within the environmental consultancy discipline.  The NVC, is a technique used to classification British Plant Communities, (there are over 250 plant communities).

We are currently undertaking NVC surveys of the following habitats; Aquatic communities, swamps and tall-herb fens, Woodlands and scrub, Grasslands and montane communities, and Mires and heaths.
